Elsewhere I've heard Maya say that it's taken her years to get to this point, and that she wouldn't recommend it for anyone who's never given birth, as she says the initial dilation is very similar to labor pains. Thankfully, she said that the end result was worth it, but eesh, I can't imagine. I reckon we should all be grateful that she's sharing her amazing talent with us.
